Tattile Mobile+: Dual AI sensor for unseen mobile license plate recognition performance

Tattile Mobile+ establishes a new benchmark in mobile license plate recognition, delivering a powerful and fully integrated solution engineered to perform reliably during active patrol operations or while scanning parked vehicles. Designed for demanding applications including mobile patrolling and parking enforcement, Mobile+ combines advanced imaging, artificial intelligence, and onboard processing in a compact platform to automate real-time license plate recognition with exceptional accuracy.

At the core of the system is an advanced dual AI sensor architecture, featuring two latest-generation 5 Mpx sensors designed to provide high-resolution images and high frame rates. Each sensor is supported by a dedicated neural accelerator, enabling AI processing at frame rate and delivering outstanding detail recognition. This allows officers to capture crystal-clear images and maintain reliable recognition in challenging lighting and weather conditions, from bright sunlight to heavy rain to night shifts.

To seamlessly adapt to different operational layouts and field requirements for patrolling and parking enforcement, Mobile+ is available in three distinct optical configurations. This ensures optimal reading distances and fields of view, whether officers are monitoring moving traffic or parked cars.

The all-in-one architecture represents a key advantage of the system: detection and recognition are performed directly on board, eliminating the need for an external PC. This significantly reduces system complexity, speeds up installation, and contributes to greater operational reliability. This compact form factor further enhances installation flexibility, allowing Mobile+ to be easily integrated onto patrol vehicle rooftops, including underneath the light bar.

By combining high-performance sensors with dedicated AI processing, Mobile+ delivers the imaging and computing capabilities required for effective mobile license plate recognition without compromising installation efficiency or vehicle integration.

Intelligent Vehicle Identification and Seamless Data Management

Mobile+ extends beyond traditional license plate recognition by providing comprehensive vehicle identification capabilities through Tattile’s on board BCCM algorithm. In addition to reading license plates, the system can identify the vehicle Brand, Color, Class, and Model, providing patrol and parking operators with richer data to support situational awareness, investigation, enforcement, and mobility management applications.

Integrated GPS enables precise geo-localization of detected vehicles and events, supporting accurate positioning of collected data. Optional LTE connectivity allows information to be transmitted in real time, while an optional SSD provides on-board video recording and image storage capabilities. These features enable Mobile+ to operate as an autonomous mobile platform, capable of collecting, processing, and managing data directly in the field.

Mobile+ is fully configurable through Stark, Tattile’s management platform, which is common across the entire product range. Stark guarantees effortless device configuration, streamlined output management, robust cybersecurity with IEC 62443 certification, and continuous updates delivered at least once per month to ensure your mobile license plate recognition operations remain cutting-edge, secure, and fully optimized over time.

The result is a compact and scalable solution engineered around three key principles: performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. By bringing advanced dual-sensor imaging, dedicated edge AI, intelligent vehicle classification, connectivity, geo-localization, and data management into a single platform, Tattile Mobile+ provides patrol and enforcement operators with the technology required to support increasingly demanding mobile vehicle identification applications.
