Tattile recently attended PARKEN 2025, one of the industry’s leading exhibitions, to present its high-performance license plate recognition camera range. PARKEN is Germany’s only trade fair on parking and covers the entire spectrum of the industry. It takes place every two years at the RheinMain CongressCenter (RMCC) in Wiesbaden.
The trade fair showcases everything related to the parking industry, from car park renovation to cashless payment systems and smart mobility apps. With its Comark’s product line, Tattile fits right into this world, offering innovative and complete solutions.
Tattile’s accurate parking monitoring with Basic MK2 Varifocal
A license plate recognition camera installed at the parking lot entrance and exit detects and reads license plates passing by. The camera generates transits containing all the metadata related to the vehicle, including plate, date, time, direction of travel, estimated optical speed, etc.
Depending on the parking manager’s primary goal, the use of an ANPR parking system can have different purposes. The information detected by the camera manages the automatic gate opening or closing, increasing security; this is also achieved thanks to the camera’s internal management of lists with specific license plates authorized to enter or exit. In addition, this information can also be used for statistical analysis of vehicles for marketing, advertising or space planning purposes.
Tattile’s Basic MK2 Varifocal is the newest addition to its lineup of LPR cameras, and it is primarily intended for parking and access control applications. This advanced camera solution offers unmatched flexibility, enabling seamless integration across various layouts and precise performance at different distance.
Featuring a fast autofocus, it is capable of reading both front and rear license plates with exceptional accuracy. Compact and innovative, this new license plate recognition camera represents a significant step forward in meeting the rigorous demands of traffic management systems, setting new standards in efficiency and reliability.

Precise laser technology to optimize parking solutions
Tattile’s LPR cameras are surely great for reading and detecting license plates; however, to provide a more complete solution for parking applications, Comark steps in with its laser technology. Comark’s parking IN/OUT system is designed to determine the occupancy status of a parking lot by detecting incoming and outgoing vehicles. Each time a vehicle enters the parking lot, the available parking spaces are reduced by one and increased by one when a vehicle exits.
Comark’s LSR2001-PARK uses laser technology to detect vehicles that enter and/or exit a parking area. The system is composed of a control unit, several sensors and, if desired, several displays showing the number of available parking spaces. Its software contains specific algorithms that reduce multiple transit detections generated by vehicle maneuvers within the sensor’s range. This laser detector is able to count vehicles, detect the transit direction and trigger an alarm when a vehicle is detected.
To sum up, Tattile license plate recognition camera and Comark laser sensor provide an ideal, comprehensive parking management solution. Together, they create an integrated system that ensures accurate parking space monitoring, enhances traffic flow and reduces the risk of human error.
Tattile’s high-performance cameras combined with Comark’s laser precision ensure a more efficient, reliable and user-friendly parking experience: this synergy of technologies makes it the perfect solution for modern parking needs.
